JetLite launches Delhi-Gorakhpur direct flight

JetLite,a leading airline of India, announced the launch of daily flight from Delhi to Gorakhpur. The flight connecting the cities will be on service five days a week. Operated by 50-seater Canadian Regional Jet -200 Series, the flight will take off from Delhi at 14:30 hrs and reach its destination at 15:50 hrs. The return flight will start from Gorakhpur at 16:20 hrs and land in New Delhi at 17:40 hrs. Plans are also afoot to connect the city of Gorakhpur to other metros such as Chennai, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Konark Festival postponed

19th Konark Dance Festival, which was scheduled to start on December1, 2008 will commence on December 4, 2008. The announcement has been made following the declaration of national morning on account of former Prime Minister, V.P. Singh's demise.
