Metro rail link to speed up commute to Delhi airport:

Delhi Airport

New Delhi is about to start a metro link which will facilitate commuters to travel to the upcoming international airport in barely 21 minutes. It will commence from the capital's central business district of Connaught Place, and will offer check-in facilities and a much cheaper journey that will have you to incur only Rs 180, almost half the present cost of a taxi ride to the airport. This walloping 23-km Airport Express Metro Rail project was presented last week by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to a consortium owned and managed by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG). The consortium includes CAF of Spain, a top manufacturer of rolling stock.
