SpiceJet, voted one of the top ten budget airlines in Asia: Smart Travel Asia
SpiceJet, one of India's low-cost airlines has been voted amongst the the top ten budget airlines in Asia by Smart Travel Asia. The survey, 'Best in Travel Poll', on the low-cost carriers, put the Indian airline among the top tens. This is the second major laurel for the SpieceJet in the recent months. The airline was in news recently for winning CIO 100 award, sponsored by CIO magazine, in the field of technological innovations in the industry. In 2007 SpiceJet was ranked as the best low-cost airline in South Asia and and Central Asia region by Skytrax, a UK based aviation research organization.
